Songbirds Music and Movement

Songbirds Music and Movement is a space for young children to sing, dance, laugh, and explore the many forms of music, with their caregivers. These small, intimate classes for children under three include folk songs, finger plays, dancing, marching, bouncing, puppets, instruments and scarves.

Children have an inherent affinity and love for music that we can cultivate and nourish, especially when they are very young. Not only does music and movement help the child’s brain develop, it helps their fine and gross motor skills, vocal and speech development, listening skills and concentration. Most importantly, it is a universal language that brings people together. I believe music is an essential part of everyday life; it has the power to uplift the soul!
